New Development in Westgate!

We are pleased to share updates on new residential, commercial and industrial projects under construction in the CRA district, as well as projects in the entitlements and permitting pipeline.

All projects within the CRA District utilize the Westgate Community Redevelopment Area zoning overlay (WCRAO) provisions in the County’s Unified Land Development Code (ULDC) for certain use regulations, architectural standards and site design. Most WCRAO sub-area PDRs require an urban building placement with massing and frontage near the front property boundary. WCRAO provisions typically provide for more project square footage and buildable site area since property development regulations such as parking ratios, setbacks and landscape buffers are reduced, and height, as well as density, through the WCRAO Density Bonus Program, are increased.
